Welcome to Highway Memories - www.highwaymemories.org - National Roadside Memorial & Marker Registry. This site is dedicated to remembering and honoring friends and loved ones by giving those who mourn a place to preserve those memories and share them with the world in pictures and words. This national registry is exclusively intended for those who have lost their lives along our nation's highways, roads, avenues, etc. We've all seen the markers, some are simple, some are elaborate, but all are there to remind us of someone special. It might be your brother or sister, mom, aunt, son or daughter or a just a good friend.
This site was
inspired by As we viewed the memorial we thought it would be nice if those who knew Josh, but would never have the opportunity to visit his memorial, would have a place where they could view the memorial and read about him. There are family and friends who will never have the chance to personally visit the site where Josh lost his life, but with the help of this site they will have a chance to get more information and feel a little closer. If you've had a friend or loved one die and have created or know of a highway memory for them we invite you to post your information here. You're provided a page, two photos slots (hopefully one of the individual and one of the memorial) and a place to put your loved one's story for those to read about who they were in life. It's not how they died, but how they lived that makes them special. Your donation will help us to maintain this site and keep it growing and available for those who wish to learn more about those who have passed. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have or to send us your information. Thank you. CONTACT US At some point this will become a paid site. |
